Catalina Dermenjian is an Armenian-Australian cellist, performer, and educator whose artistry bridges classical tradition, contemporary composition, and folk-infused modern expression.

Her repertoire extends from Baroque to new music, having performed in early music ensembles where she explores the unique historical voice of the baroque cello in contrast to the modern instrument.

 

Her versatility further expands from classical performance to the electric cello, specifically the Yamaha silent cello, which defines a warm yet bright metallic sound.
